Boreal Museum's Foragers Walk

When: Multiple Mondays and Sundays from May 30 to September 26 (various times)
Where: Boreal Museum in Thunder Bay

Did you know that the boreal forest is home to 3.7 million people worldwide? This 1.5 hour hiking tour gives participants the opportunity to learn about the nutritious wild foods present in these areas. A great opportunity to learn! Registration is required for entry.

RBG Spring Mindfulness Walks

When: Sundays, April 10, May 15, June 12; from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m
Where: Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington, Ont.

If you are looking to take a break and embrace the warm weather, then Royal Botanical Gardens is a great place to visit. Guided by Lauren Anastasi, the Spring Mindfulness Walks are an opportunity to acknowledge your thoughts while experiencing the peaceful nature of  RBG. Registration is required for participation.

Floral Showhouse Annual Summer Show

When: June 4 to October 2 from 11 a.m to 5 p.m.
Where: Niagara Falls

Niagara has more than just pretty falls. The Floral Showhouse is back with its annual summer show. With an entry ticket you can walk through multiple exhibits featuring stunning flowers and plants. The show runs all through the summer. opportunity to learn! Registration is required for entry.

Annual Peony Festival

When: June 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: City of Oshawa

Over 300 varieties of peonies will be on display this June at Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens. Along with the flower displays you’ll see an array of artwork, from featured paintings,sculptures and expert demonstrations. Not to mention lots of great food from local restaurants. Cowton Family Meadows Tree and Pollinator Planting

Where: Cowton Family Meadows in Brampton

If you are looking for a way to give back to gardens this summer Cowton Family Meadows has the event for you. There will be many varieties of trees and pollinator plants like wildflowers to plant. CFUW Aurora/Newmarket Home and Garden Tour 2022

When: June 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Multiple locations across Aurora and Newmarket

Looking for some inspiration on how to landscape a beautiful garden? CFUW is back with their annual Home and Garden Tour for the summer season. Over nine properties will be a part of this event. With a ticket, participants can travel at their own pace to each home. Best of all, 100 per cent of proceeds go to funding young women pursuing a post-secondary education. Fairlawn's Bloomin' Garden Tour in Support of Camp Scugog

Where: Fairlawn Avenue United Church in Toronto

This great event for garden enthusiasts involves a tour of the Fairlawn Avenue Church Gardens in Toronto. Summer Flower, Fruit, Vegetable & Photography Show

When: Saturday, August 13 at 8:30 to 10:45 a.m (entry)
Where: Cobourg Public Library in the Town of Cobourg

If you would like to see the picks of the season for a variety of plants, the Summer Flower, Fruit, Vegetable & Photography Show is the place to be. Hereward Farms Lavender Festival

When: August 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Hereward Farms in Grand Valley

This is the first event that Hereward Farms has hosted for the lavender season. There will be a lot of fun activities and food for the whole family to enjoy. The event is free to attend but registration is required.
