Snow Day returns with record-breaking temperatures
While Toronto's Pearson airport recorded a record high 13.4 C on Feb. 15, 2023, over 40 people hit the slopes at Craigleith Ski Club in Blue Mountain, Ont., for the return of Landscape Ontario's annual snow day event.
Organized and hosted by volunteers of Landscape Ontario's Georgian Lakelands Chapter, the activity-filled event included breakfast, lunch, a fun race and après ski party for the many participants who either skied, snowboarded or snowshoed.
A random prize draw was also held for various items donated by supporting companies.
Organizers would like to recognize the outstanding support of various sponsors and look forward to hosting the event again in 2024.
