Profit Builder’s Day – presented by The Big Backyard Show
We were proud to have presented two absolutely outstanding business presentations at GreenTrade Expo. Dubbed LO Ottawa’s first Profit-Builders Day and sponsored by the Big Backyard Show, the day consisted of two great sessions by Donald Cooper.
Cooper’s morning session, sponsored by Distribution Viking, was entitled How to Improve Clarity, Commitment and Accountability in Every Part of Your Business. In the morning management session, sponsored by Turf Care Products, Mr. Cooper addressed The Eight Essential Steps to Finding, Leading and Keeping the Best Staff. Both these sessions wowed and energized the audience of industry leaders. All morning long, Smith Petrie Carr and Scott Insurance Brokers kept the coffee coming with their sponsorship of the coffee station.
Attendees were surprised by a rare opportunity in the afternoon, when Donald Cooper generously made himself available for one-on-one consultations with people right on the GreenTrade Expo show floor. Many people took advantage of the opportunity to seek advice on business strategies for their companies.
The day was made possible by a grant from the Agricultural Adaptation Council. Sincere thanks goes to all of the sponsors for their commitment to education in the horticulture industry.
